Project Manager
You will carry a plant from sanction to handover — the contractors, the schedule, the budget and the approvals. When those four disagree with each other, which they will, you are the one who decides what gives.
What you will do
- Own the project schedule and budget end to end, and report both without decoration.
- Select and manage EPC contractors and equipment vendors, and hold them to their scope.
- Run the statutory approvals — pollution board, explosives, electrical, local bodies — and keep them off the critical path.
- Chair the site coordination meetings and close out what they raise.
- Drive commissioning and performance testing with the process and operations teams, through to handover.
What we ask for
- A degree in Engineering; a project management qualification is welcome, not required.
- Six to ten years delivering industrial or energy projects, at least one of them from the ground up.
- Direct experience of contractor management and of Indian statutory approvals.
- The standing to say no to a contractor and make it hold.
What we offer
- A pipeline of plants rather than a single project and an uncertain afterwards.
- Authority that matches the accountability — real budget ownership.
- Health cover for you and your dependants, and a performance-linked component.
